A Canoeing & Kayaking Guide to the Ozarks,

More To See and Explore

I visit a huge number of sites on the web when I am trapped indoors. In addition to paddling and hiking Dianne and I also take some road trips to Oklahoma wineries and we love bowling in Oklahoma. You can find a list of our local wineries at the bottom of this page. Our other big search subject is nice lodging near kayaking and canoeing locations all around the Ozarks as you can see from the list below. Float trips are the perfect fun activity for uniting your team or family.Kayaking trip to Arkansas to paddle Table Rock Lake, visit our blog for details! You get outside, get some exercise and you even get a new appreciation for the natural beauty of your region.

For tales of our kayaking trips on various Oklahoma area waters, visit our blog or check out some of our other pages specific to the major bodies of water around Oklahoma. Leave us a comment while you are there and maybe we can get together for a float trip sometime.  Sharing the shuttle is an easy way to save money on kayaking trips.

We like to grab a nice rural cabin with a hot tub, preferably located near some good kayaking.  If you are interested in the same thing check out our list of cabins below!

Got some dry time between adventures? Try stopping by to visit an Oklahoma Winery or two. Most Oklahoma wineries offer free tours and tastings of their wines.  No matter where you live in the Sooner State, there is usually an Oklahoma winery nearby.

There's plenty of downstream paddling on the internet and all of the put-ins you could hope for. More Oklahoma outdoors and Ozarks related websites are hitting the web everyday.  I have been especially happy to notice more sites detailing how to better enjoy Oklahoma's wealth of great outdoor activities.

We have sites like TasteOklahoma.com and The Oklahoma Wine News Blog that detail fun events and happenings all over the Sooner State.
